Getting Our Hands Dirty
Have you ever felt a quiet longing—something pulling you toward something new? I know this feeling well. The last time, it led me to have another child. But now, with that chapter closed, the longing still lingers.
Motherhood has been a whirlwind of joy and exhaustion, but as the house grows quieter, a question settles in: What now? The love I’ve poured into raising babies is still there—so where do I put it?
Maybe this isn’t an ending but a beginning. A time to plant new seeds, to rediscover myself. Maybe, in peeling back the layers, I’ll find that what I’ve been searching for was me all along.
Do you feel it too? Let’s dig in together.
Ode to a Kitchen Sink
I can’t be the only one who has a secret love obsession with a clean kitchen and their kitchen sink.
Right?
"Life with kids is nothing short of a whirlwind—filled with laughter, chaos, and the occasional glittery tiara. Over the past couple of weeks, my home has been a hub of holiday magic, creative messes, and endless dishes. In this post, I’m diving into the beautiful, exhausting reality of parenting, the little joys I find in everyday tasks, and why something as simple as a clean sink can feel like pure bliss. Grab a cup of coffee (or your favorite cleaning supply!), and let’s celebrate the magic and madness of it all!"
The Power of my People
The Power of my People is strong and I am excited to dig deeper into these roots!
Third Times a Charm?
Normalizing failure is such a hard thing to do. But what if we gave ourselves love and grace instead of hardship and pain!
It Takes a Village!
Parenting is hard…. between sarcasm, tears and yelling, it takes a village to lift you up!
Scrubbing Between Your Toes
Matthew is gone on a business trip for the first time in…… Honestly, I can’t remember. He wanted everything to be all right when he was gone, so he was hustling and bustling by taking out the garbage bags, scheduling my car to get an oil change, and restocking our shelves in case we needed anything. Please keep in mind that I still had to take our garbage out the curb, which I have never done, and honestly didn’t know how to move the bins!
Not Now, Wanda!
Have you ever had a day that was just absolutely bat-sh$# crazy? You cry for no reason, you feel anxious for no reason, your mind is spinning, again… for no reason. Its like you can’t catch a break, let alone your breath. That is how today is going. I can’t seem to settle down and I am doing a banana dance every single minute.
Change Your Underwear to Change Your Mind!
Changing your mindset, one pair at a time.
Daylight savings time is a time when people are feeling entirely off their games and acting like zombies.
Wiping Butts and Baking Cookies!
On Fridays, our nanny leaves at 12, and with it being Spring Break, that means I am left to my own device with all FOUR kiddens.
What a Doozie!
We had three children. We were happy, we were almost to that sweet spot of being out of diapers and sleeping in, and the kids were recognizing when they were making a mess so they could clean it up by themselves… almost!
It Started With a Sink…
Matt and I have been talking about getting a new sink for quite some time…
A Lesson In Baking
*** An oldie but such a goodie! I am shaking. Tears are welling up in my eyes because I have had this feeling before, one that you cannot shake.
ROSIE THE RIVETER, 2.0
Today is the first day of a massive snowfall in Minnesota. I sat in my office just staring at the white-colored veil that was blissfully falling onto our driveway and trees.
